Store Operations Associate

Responsibilities

• Developing customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interacting face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
• Maintaining customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
• Meeting monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walking the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Renting self-storage units, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments utilizing our Point-of-Sale System (POS), completing daily bank deposits, and making courtesy calls to customers regarding late payments.
• Maintaining physical properties by performing tasks such as cleaning the units and the store grounds, opening, and closing of the storage doors (up to 50 lbs.), mopping, sweeping, changing light bulbs, cleaning out storage units, and similar activities.
• Ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the storage facility by maintaining a clean and tidy environment, including clean restrooms, neat landscaping and parking areas, storage doors that are clean and tidy, and neat decluttered office space.

Qualifications

• A positive and outgoing personality with a passion for helping people.
• Experience in delivering high quality customer service to a diverse customer market.
• A self-driven mindset with strong operational focus.
• Basic computer skills including MS office products.
• The ability to work Saturdays.
• Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance are required.
• The ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, sitting, kneeling, crouching, crawling, bending, climbing, and balancing on a ladder.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship.

Pay

$19.00 - $21.00 per hour depending on experience plus bonus opportunities.

Schedule

Some locations may require Sunday hours.
