The Team You’ll Work With
As the Measurer, you will work directly with our talented Production and Design team to bridge the gap between initial client concepts and final installation. The Measurer will ensure 100% dimensional accuracy and provide the technical "field-to-shop" data that allows our fabrication team to execute complex stone projects flawlessly.
The Opportunities You Will Have
- Master Precision Technology: Use advanced digital measuring equipment and CAD software to capture complex site conditions for high-end residential and commercial stone projects.
- Solve Complex Design Puzzles: Practice "predictive troubleshooting" by identifying potential fabrication or installation hurdles before they happen, ensuring a seamless flow from shop to site.
- Directly Influence the Final Product: Translate field data into detailed shop drawings and field notes that serve as the blueprint for our craftsmen and installers.
- Collaborate Across the Industry: Work as a key point of contact with architects, designers, and site superintendents to ensure Fox’s standards of excellence are met on every job site.
About You
- Self-Motivated & Independent: You are a disciplined "self-starter" who thrives when working alone. You take full ownership of your schedule and have the internal drive to get the task done accurately without constant supervision.
- A Master of Visualization: You can "see" the finished stone installation before it exists, allowing you to anticipate redlines and solve for the best possible outcome.
- Tech-Savvy & Adaptable: You are comfortable with CAD systems and possess the math skills (imperial and metric) to translate complex ideas into simplified visual forms. Ability to read and interpret architectural plans.
- Highly Accurate Under Pressure: You have the focus to "block out the noise" on a busy construction site to ensure every measurement is captured correctly the first time.
- A Confident Communicator: You are personable and professional with clients, but you have the technical confidence to say "no" when a design intent isn't structurally or materially possible.
- Reliable & Detail-Oriented: You possess a valid California driver’s license, a great memory for project specifics, and the physical ability to navigate active residential and commercial job sites.
