Measurement Technician (flooring estimator) - Subcontractor

Contract Description: Flooring Estimator / Measure Technician (1099 Contractor). Immediate start. Field‑based position (not remote) for experienced individuals in flooring, construction, or in‑home customer service. Independent contractors manage their own schedule, travel locally, and meet customers in their homes.

Responsibilities

• Visit customers’ homes to measure flooring installation areas.
• Accurately collect measurements and project details using provided technology.
• Deliver excellent customer service during each appointment.
• Communicate professionally with customers (as needed) and team members.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Friendly, professional, and customer‑focused attitude.
• Active listening and communication skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of personal auto insurance.
• Smartphone and basic tablet/computer skills.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Construction experience preferred; flooring knowledge is a plus.
• Availability on Saturdays is required.

Pay
