Measure Tech (Part Time) - Valdosta, GA

This position is a traveling field role supporting The Home Depot's Field Services Organization. The Measure Technician provides quality professional customer service, performs in-home measure appointments, builds customer relationships, and supports sales, product inquiries, measurements, and installation coordination.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily routes for pre-assigned measure appointments efficiently and accurately (60% of role).
• Collaborate with associates, supervisors, and managers to complete work activities (4% of role).
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and adhere to work schedule (1% of role).
• Provide exceptional customer service by asking open-ended questions, listening to customer needs, and demonstrating product and services knowledge (35% of role).
• Describe features and benefits of merchandise and steps involved in completing projects.
• Identify opportunities to engage customers in additional services programs.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Reliable transportation.
• 1+ years of previous related work experience.
• Ability to continuously stand, walk, or regularly lift/handle/carry material or equipment of moderate weight (8-20 pounds).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Competencies: Action Oriented, Collaborates, Communicates Effectively, Customer Focus.

Schedule

• Travel between locations required.
• Primarily works within a pre-defined geographical area, with occasional support to company locations.

This position reports directly to the Assistant Market Manager and does not have direct reports.
