Measure Tech (Part-Time) Toledo, OH

This position is a traveling field role supporting The Home Depot's Field Services Organization. The Measure Technician provides quality professional customer service, performs in-home measure appointments, and builds customer relationships. Responsibilities include supporting sales, product inquiries, in-home measurements, and coordinating installations.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily routes for pre-assigned measure appointments efficiently and accurately (60% of role).
• Collaborate with associates, supervisors, and managers to complete work activities (4% of role).
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and adhere to work schedules (1% of role).
• Provide exceptional customer service by asking open-ended questions, listening to customer needs, and demonstrating product knowledge (35% of role).
• Identify opportunities to engage customers in additional services programs.
• Conduct accurate in-home measurements, calculations, and quote reviews.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Reliable transportation required.
• 1+ years of previous related work experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to continuously stand, walk, or regularly lift/carry material or equipment of moderate weight (8-20 pounds).

Schedule

Located in a comfortable indoor area, though conditions may produce mild discomfort on occasion. Travel between locations is required.

Reports directly to the Assistant Market Manager. No direct reports.
