Measure Tech Part - Time (Owings Mills, MD)

This position works independently in a traveling field role in support of The Home Depot's Field Services Organization. The Measure Technician provides quality professional customer service, performs in-home measure appointments, builds customer relationships, supports sales, answers product inquiries, takes measurements, and coordinates installations.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily routes for pre-assigned measure appointments efficiently and accurately (60% of role).
• Collaborate with associates, supervisors, and managers to complete all other work activities (4% of role).
• Follow all policies, procedures, and adhere to work schedule (1% of role).
• Provide exceptional customer service by asking open-ended questions, listening to customer needs, describing product features and benefits, demonstrating product knowledge, and identifying opportunities for additional services (35% of role).

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Reliable transportation.
• 1+ years of previous related work experience.
• Ability to continuously stand, walk, or regularly lift/handle/carry material or equipment of moderate weight (8-20 pounds).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.

This position reports directly to the Assistant Market Manager and requires travel between locations. Work is primarily conducted in customers' homes, with occasional mild discomfort.
