Meals on Wheels Site Manager - Cohasset/Hull

About the role

OCES is expanding to 11 more towns covering the south shore area, including Quincy, Braintree, Weymouth, and others. We support older adults and individuals with disabilities by providing vital information and coordination of services to promote healthy, safe living. As a Meals Site Manager, you will oversee food service operations at assigned meal sites for our Meals on Wheels Program, ensuring our consumers receive nutritious meals. Reliable transportation is required. This is a part-time position, Monday through Friday mornings, with 22-25 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Council on Aging (COA) Director (and Housing Authority personnel when appropriate) to assign and direct the work of volunteer staff and home-delivered meals drivers.
• Promote a congenial and harmonious meal site in collaboration with COA Director and Housing Authority personnel.
• Deliver meals on occasion as necessary.
• Ensure all health, sanitation, and safety regulations are met.
• Provide accurate and timely reports as prescribed.
• Receive and account for donations according to OCES procedure.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Business experience is preferable.
• Food service experience is desirable.
• Reliable transportation.
