Meals on Wheels Site Manager - Braintree

OCES is expanding to 11 more towns covering the south shore area, including Quincy, Braintree, Weymouth, and others. We support older adults and individuals with disabilities by providing vital information and coordination of services, promoting healthy, safe living to help them stay active and engaged in their communities.

About the role

We are seeking a caring Meals Site Manager to oversee food service operations at assigned meal sites for our Meals on Wheels Program, which provides nutritious meals to our consumers. Reliable transportation is required. This is a part-time position, Monday through Friday mornings, with 22-25 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Council on Aging (COA) Director (and Housing Authority personnel when appropriate) to assign and direct the work of volunteer staff and home-delivered meals drivers
• Collaborate with COA Director and Housing Authority personnel to promote a congenial and harmonious meal site
• Deliver meals on occasion as necessary
• Ensure that all health, sanitation, and safety regulations are met
• Provide accurate and timely reports as prescribed
• Receive and account for donations according to OCES procedure
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Business experience preferable
• Food service experience desirable
