Meals from the Heart - Ronald McDonald House Louisville
A non-profit, 501(c)(3) charity, Ronald McDonald House Louisville is located in downtown Louisville, close to Norton Children's Hospital and other regional hospitals. We achieve our mission through four key programs: Ronald McDonald House (RMH), Ronald McDonald Family Rooms, grants, and scholarships.
About the role
Founded in 1984, RMH started with 19 guestrooms. Over the years, we expanded to 29 rooms in 2003, 36 rooms in 2009, and reached 56 rooms in 2020. In 1992, we pioneered the first Ronald McDonald Family Room in Louisville, which now includes Family Rooms in three local hospitals: Norton Suburban, Kosair Children's, and Frazier Rehabilitation Institute. Since then, RMH has assisted over 25,000 families from across the United States and some international locations.
