MDS Director (RN)

MDS Director – RN Complete Care | New Jersey Complete Care is seeking an experienced MDS Director (RN) to oversee the MDS process at one of our skilled nursing facilities in New Jersey. We are looking for a knowledgeable, detail-oriented professional with strong clinical assessment skills and a thorough understanding of MDS, PDPM, and reimbursement processes. Key Responsibilities Oversee and coordinate the MDS assessment process, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.Ensure compliance with CMS guidelines and state and federal regulations.Manage care planning, documentation, and reimbursement accuracy.Collaborate with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams to support quality resident care.Monitor quality measures and identify opportunities for improvement.Provide guidance and education to staff regarding MDS processes and requirements. Qualifications Active New Jersey RN license or valid Compact RN license required.Prior MDS experience in a skilled nursing facility required.RAC-CT (Resident Assessment Coordinator – Certified) certification strongly preferred.Strong knowledge of MDS 3.0, PDPM, Medicare, and Medicaid reimbursement.Previous MDS leadership or supervisory experience preferred.Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.Experience with PointClickCare preferred.
