Responsibilities
- Direct the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Unit
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local standards for long-term care facilities
- Support nursing staff and ensure quality outcomes
- Oversee resident care
- Include some MDS in responsibilities
- Teach through valuable work in the facility
Qualifications
- Current, active license to practice as an RN in State of practice
- Well-versed in inter-personal communications
- Familiar with the RAI process and Case Management
- Able to read, write, and speak English
- Meet all local health regulations and pass post-employment physical exam if required
- Pass drug screening, criminal background investigation, and reference inquiry
