Responsibilities
- Notifies and coordinates the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) for Medicare/MDS assessment completion.
- Ensures the IDT completes the MDS Assessment in a timely manner.
- Captures and implements the plan of care as per the resident’s needs.
- Administers or implements treatments, medications, or other nursing interventions as directed by the resident's plan of care or physician orders.
- Provides nursing care in compliance with infection control standards.
- Fulfills safety policies during the performance of nursing care.
- Initiates emergency measures in accordance with center policy and nursing practice standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of [State] from the NCAL.
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility setting preferred.
- Knowledge of Medicare/MDS guidelines and regulations.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
