MDM PIM Manager
About the role
PwC's Data Management team focuses on organizing and maintaining data to support accurate and accessible decision-making. This includes data governance, quality control, and integration to facilitate effective business operations.
Responsibilities
Implement data quality control measures, perform data cleansing and validation, and monitor data integrity.
Manage data operations, including data acquisition, transformation, and loading processes, to ensure the smooth functioning of data management systems and processes.
Motivate, develop, and inspire team members to deliver high-quality work.
Lead business development and client engagement efforts related to product data management, aligning with organizational objectives and driving innovation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data quality and processes for improved productivity.
Uphold and reinforce professional and technical standards, the Firm's code of conduct, and independence requirements.
Architect and oversee enterprise-wide Product Information Management (PIM) solutions.
Drive innovation in product data practices and methodologies.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree
At least 5 years of experience in Data Management
Qualifications
Hands-on experience with leading PIM platforms preferred
Proven ability to design and implement product data taxonomies
Understanding of PIM integration with data quality initiatives
Functional business knowledge in retail, manufacturing, or e-commerce preferred
Ability to translate complex product data challenges into actionable use cases
Skills
Analyse and identify the linkages and interactions between the component parts of an entire system
Take ownership of projects, ensuring their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion
Partner with team leadership to ensure collective ownership of quality, timelines, and deliverables
Develop skills outside your comfort zone, and encourage others to do the same
Effectively mentor others
Use the review of work as an opportunity to deepen the expertise of team members
Address conflicts or issues, engaging in difficult conversations with clients, team members, and other stakeholders, escalating where appropriate

The salary range for this position is: $99,000 - $232,000
