About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Assist with various projects and tasks under supervision.

  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at promoting a healthy, safe, and stable environment for residents.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.
  • Pursuing a major in human services such as social work, sociology, psychology, forensic psychology, interdisciplinary studies in social science, education, community development, law enforcement, behavioral science, gerontology, special education, education of the emotionally disturbed, education of the gifted, family ecology, community services, family studies, family and/or child development, counseling psychology, criminal justice, human services, or a related counseling major.
  • For a bachelor's degree, at least 30 semester (45 term) credits in one or a combination of the specified human services areas.

Additional Requirements and Information:

  • Submit a cover letter addressing your qualifications, career interests, and expectations for the internship.
  • Provide a resume, list of three references, and copies of official/unofficial transcripts.
  • Pass an MDHHS background check.
  • Provide a copy of your driver license and social security card.
  • If living outside Michigan, provide an out-of-state Central Registry and driving record.
  • Ensure an Affiliation Agreement is in place or initiated by your university.
