About the role

Ozarks Medical Center is seeking a well-qualified psychiatrist to join their collaborative clinic setting. The clinic is located in brand-new spaces designed with the patient experience in mind and offers primary care services. Additionally, psychiatric services are provided through tele-health to three of its outpatient rural health clinics.

Responsibilities

• See patients of all ages at two outpatient mental health facilities
• Participate in a team-oriented environment with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, nurse practitioners, nurses, and counselors
• Offer comprehensive psychiatric treatment to people of all ages
• Earn the Consumers Choice Award from the Missouri Department of Mental Health for work with children and youth

Requirements

• MD or DO degree
• Board certification in Psychiatry
• Current Missouri Medical License

Qualifications

• Experience in outpatient mental health settings preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to provide comprehensive psychiatric treatment to people of all ages
