About the role
Ozarks Medical Center is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician to join our Hospitalist team. The team benefits from excellent diagnostic imaging and laboratory services, with real-time radiology reading, 24/7 documentation with an electronic system and scribes. We offer bedside ultrasound with credentialing track, full scope of procedural sedation, and strong, collegial specialty backup including psychiatry, OB, neurosurgery, orthopedics, CT surgery, general surgery, urology, ENT, intervention cardiology, neurology, pediatrics, and hospitalists midlevel coverage in fast track. We have 16 hours of daily coverage, including 24/7 stroke/STEMI teams with 8, 9, and 10-hour shifts, flexible scheduling, and minimal night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive inpatient care for medically complex patients
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure patient care continuity
- Participate in ongoing professional development and education
- Contribute to the hospital’s mission of providing high-quality, compassionate care
Requirements
- Current MD/DO license in Missouri
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency program
- Experience in hospital medicine preferred
