MD/DO Regional General Surgeon (Winona, Wabasha, Whitehall)
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to practice in a supportive, collaborative environment serving communities across Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota. Position Highlights include:
- Full-time General Surgeon role with a diverse surgical caseload including scopes, and a mix of general surgery cases to offer the appeal of a well-rounded practice.
- Practice at well-equipped facilities in Wabasha, Winona, and Whitehall, offering a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient care.
- Practice state of the art medicine and connect with the entire Emplify Health System with digital radiology, telemedicine, and an integrated medical record (EPIC).
- Potential for additional focused practice opportunities and outreach to our critical access hospitals.

Qualifications
- Board-certified or board-eligible in General Surgery.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
- Commitment to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Desire to practice rural general surgery providing necessary care close to home.

Skills
Must have completed an accredited graduate medical training program and be board certified or eligible within the area of medicine stated. In addition, must have or be able to obtain a license to practice in our multi-state region with no restrictions or limitations.
