MCS School Nurse

About the role

MCS School Nurse is responsible for providing health care services to students and staff within the Manchester Community Schools district. This position ensures the health and safety of students and staff through preventive care, first aid, and emergency response.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily health assessments and screenings for students and staff
• Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care as necessary
• Coordinate with outside healthcare providers for student and staff health concerns
• Document all health-related activities and incidents in accordance with district policies
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding school health services

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
• Current Indiana State License as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• First Aid and CPR certifications
• Experience in a school setting preferred

Pay

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $55,000 annually.

Schedule
