MCL Lab Technician - 2nd Shift (Onsite)

Location: Middletown, NY (Onsite)

This position is considered safety-sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines. Candidates will be subject to drug and alcohol testing as a pre-employment contingency and ongoing random testing as an employee per FAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and evaluate test specimens
• Report results of test specimens
• Maintain records and post specimen results
• Ensure all necessary laboratory equipment is functioning properly and supplies are available
• Maintain a clean and orderly lab environment
• Keep all applicable laboratory paperwork current
• Train future Lab Technicians
• Participate in CORE continuous improvement initiatives using CORE tools
• Help maintain a world-class safety culture and respond promptly to all EH&S requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Management Team

Requirements

• Mechanical ability
• Ability to read work instructions and blueprints
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible
• Prior experience in a lab environment is a plus
• Inspector training helpful but not required
• Computer skills helpful
• Ability to work overtime when necessary
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Strong work ethic and commitment to quality excellence
• Quick learner and self-starter
• Able to work as part of a team

Qualifications

You must have a high school diploma (or equivalent, e.g., G.E.D. in the U.S.) with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $24.00 per hour.
