We are hiring Operations Specialists for various shifts at our McKinney, TX location. This role involves working in a manufacturing environment building components for Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks.
Schedule
- Day Shift: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Evening Shift: Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- Night Shift: Sunday through Thursday, 9:30 PM – 6:00 AM
Responsibilities
- Stand for up to 8 hours per day
- Use hand, pneumatic, and vibratory tools
- Operate machines with moving and cutting parts
- Push/pull up to 75 lbs
- Lift/carry up to 35 lbs
- Perform tasks requiring repetitive wrist movement
- Maintain excellent manual dexterity
- Read, write, and speak in English to follow written and oral directions on build papers
- Manufacture/assemble battery cables, hoses, hardlines, axles, DEF tanks, and battery boxes
- Use hoists for lifting
- Perform small parts work
- Occasional overhead lifting of lighter weights
- Occasional twisting/rotating at the waist
- Operate rolling stock (reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, stock pickers, and pallet jacks)
- Push/pull/lift/carry hose reels up to 100 lbs
- Perform twisting, push/pull body motions to maneuver rolling stock
- Repetitive motion involved in throttling back and forth
- Frequent squatting and kneeling
- Perform special projects as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
