McDonald's General Manager

The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and ensuring it meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. This is a significant role that involves setting restaurant goals, leading a team of Department Managers, and potentially hiring and developing managers.

Responsibilities

• Setting and achieving restaurant goals under the guidance of a leader
• Leading a team of Department Managers to improve restaurant performance
• Hiring and developing Department and Shift Managers to ensure the restaurant has the right team for the future
• Managing staff schedules and ensuring compliance with labor laws
• Ensuring compliance with McDonald’s operational standards and health codes
• Coordinating with other departments within the restaurant to maintain high standards
• Handling employee relations and disciplinary actions as needed

Requirements

• Previous experience as a General Manager in high-volume locations
• A background in quick-service restaurants or hospitality/review industry
• Must be 18 years or older
