Responsibilities

  • Participate in Layered Process Audits and work towards resolving open items
  • Identify and resolve product quality problems through interactions with Group Leaders, Team Leaders, and Engineering
  • Resolve quality issues with internal and external customers
  • Lead and track daily/weekly operational metrics such as X-Rite readings, PPM, QA boards, NorthStar, OOCA, OBKA, color checks, etc.
  • Lead and record activities for Quality Round Table meetings (Bi-Weekly)
  • Visit job sites as required to support Ferdinand operations
  • Review and update specifications and Standard Operating Sheets (SOS) for accuracy and revisions
  • Support Ferdinand employees in interpreting specifications and solving problems
  • Contribute to the Ferdinand Quality System by ensuring compliance and initiating continuous improvement
  • Provide accurate information and feedback to all Business Units and Ferdinand Operations Leadership Team
  • Train and coach Ferdinand production associates and management on quality-related issues
  • Lead and/or participate in Kaizen improvement events
  • Generate, modify, and complete Standard Operating Sheets (SOS)
  • Report out on projects using the A3 project management process/format
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Ability to apply and interpret statistical data
  • Computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player with the ability to initiate, lead, and participate in problem-solving activities
  • Able to give candid feedback and report findings of non-compliance to the Ferdinand Quality System
  • Professional competence, knowledge, and skill necessary for satisfactory performance
  • Ability to deliver a formal project status presentation to MBCI Leadership
  • Two years' experience within a manufacturing environment preferred

Pay

The salary range for this position is $XX - $YY, depending on experience and qualifications. Exact pay will be determined during the interview process.

Schedule

This position is available on a dayshift schedule.
