About the Program
The AARP Foundation Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) trains mature workers while they update their skills. This opportunity is for individuals 55 years of age and older who are unemployed and facing difficulty obtaining employment. Participants receive a training stipend of $7.25 an hour for 20 hours per week while preparing for re-entry into the workforce.

Requirements
- 55 years of age or older
- Meet income guidelines
- Currently unemployed
- Resident of one of the following counties: Bradford, Carbon, Centre, Columbia, Juniata, Lackawanna, Mifflin, Monroe, Montour, Northumberland, Pike, Potter, Snyder, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Tioga, Union, or Wayne
