MATL PLNG CONTROL ANALYST 4
Full-time, 1st shift position at HII’s Ingalls Shipbuilding Division, the largest manufacturing employer in Mississippi and a major contributor to the economic growth of Alabama. U.S. citizenship is not required for this position.
About the role
Plans, schedules, and manages the efficient movement of material from receiving or the warehouse to production. Develops raw material requirements and scheduling requirements from engineering specifications and production schedules, and plans and manages material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and production. May use Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems. May negotiate lead times with suppliers and manage schedules for timely delivery.
Requirements
- 10 years of relevant professional experience with a Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- 8 years of relevant professional experience with a Master's Degree
Skills
Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems, supplier negotiations, and production scheduling.
