About the role
This role involves applying expertise in mathematics to help train next-generation AI systems. The focus is on ensuring models learn, reason, and perform accurately through high-quality, real-world input.
Responsibilities
Review, solve, and evaluate advanced mathematical problems across pure and applied mathematics.
Develop accurate, well-structured mathematical proofs, derivations, technical explanations, and analytical solutions.
Ensure mathematical rigor, precision, and logical consistency in all deliverables.
Assess AI-generated mathematical solutions for correctness, clarity, completeness, and logical reasoning.
Identify errors, inconsistencies, or gaps in AI outputs and provide actionable feedback to improve model performance.
Validate mathematical reasoning against established theories and best practices.
Create high-quality mathematical datasets, annotations, and domain-specific training content for AI model development.
Produce clear technical documentation and structured explanations covering a wide range of mathematical concepts.
Contribute to benchmark datasets used for evaluating AI reasoning capabilities.
Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts across various mathematical disciplines.
Communicate complex mathematical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Document methodologies, findings, and recommendations in a clear and organized manner.
Requirements
Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related discipline.
Strong knowledge of pure and applied mathematics.
Experience writing mathematical proofs, research papers, technical reports, or analytical documentation.
Ability to evaluate mathematical reasoning with a high degree of accuracy and rigor.
Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while managing deliverables effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience reviewing or critiquing mathematical proofs, computational methods, or technical analyses.
Familiarity with current research trends, emerging applications, or open problems in mathematics.
Experience translating complex mathematical concepts into clear, understandable explanations for diverse audiences.
Exposure to mathematical modeling, computational mathematics, or applied research.
