The Engineering Subject Matter Expert (AI Training) role requires a bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in mechanical, civil, electrical, chemical, industrial, aerospace, electronics, manufacturing, or related engineering fields.
Requirements
- Proven experience preparing engineering reports, technical documentation, design specifications, or project analyses in academic or professional settings.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to technical detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex engineering concepts clearly and effectively.
- Experience working with engineering standards, design processes, or technical validation workflows is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and manage deliverables effectively in a remote, distributed environment.
- Strong capability to bridge technical engineering knowledge with clear, structured communication for diverse audiences.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze engineering documentation such as technical reports, design specifications, project analyses, and system descriptions for accuracy and completeness.
- Evaluate technical content for adherence to engineering principles, industry standards, and best practices across multiple disciplines.
- Provide detailed expert feedback, clarifications, and recommendations on complex engineering scenarios and problem statements.
- Create engineering-based examples, case studies, and structured problem sets to improve AI learning and reasoning.
- Develop clear, well-structured technical explanations that strengthen AI understanding of real-world engineering concepts.
- Audit AI-generated engineering responses for correctness, logic, and technical depth, identifying errors and inconsistencies.
- Contribute to the creation and refinement of high-quality engineering datasets used for AI training and evaluation.
