Mathematics - Adjunct Pool
About the role
Hartwick College is accepting applications on a continuing basis for instructors who are qualified to teach Statistics. The pool will be utilized on an as-needed basis, should an opportunity arise, and applications submitted will remain active for up to two years.
Responsibilities
Candidates must have a PhD in Mathematics, with a preference for candidates with experience teaching students at the undergraduate level. Candidates who are ABD with some experience teaching Statistics may also be considered.
Requirements
The successful candidate will:
- Teach Statistics courses at the undergraduate level.
- Contribute to the academic life of the department through scholarly activities.
- Participate in service activities within the department and the college.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- A PhD in Mathematics.
- Experience teaching Statistics at the undergraduate level.
- Preference given to candidates with ABD status and relevant teaching experience.

- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
- Commitment to teaching and student success.
