Math Teacher
The Opportunity
Math teachers at Masters Academy International (MAI) ensure that students function as mathematicians every day, developing an appreciation for mathematics as both a practical tool and a powerful way of thinking. Students explore how math is used by professionals across fields and in everyday life, discovering its relevance beyond the classroom.
Each week, students attempt solutions, pose questions, receive feedback, iterate, and reflect on errors to gradually master mathematical concepts while building critical thinking, reasoning, and problem-solving skills. Our discussion- and problem-focused approach to mathematics emphasizes collaboration and communication, encouraging students to take active ownership of their learning and develop deep conceptual understanding.
