About the role

Fusion Academy is a fully accredited 1-to-1 private school for grades 5–12. As a Math Teacher, you'll have the flexibility to shape your schedule, design creative lessons, and collaborate with passionate colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Teach in a truly personalized way — one student at a time.
  • Adapt lessons and assessments to meet each learner’s needs.
  • Mentor each student and support their social-emotional growth.
  • Build strong, consistent partnerships with parents and guardians.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to campus culture.
  • Keep student records accurate and organized.
  • Invest in your own growth through reflection, feedback, and ongoing professional development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus.
  • Experience teaching a wide range of math courses (Basic, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, and if needed: Integrated, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry) following content standards — curriculum and resources provided.
  • Ability and willingness to teach a wide range of math courses (Basic, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, and if needed: Integrated, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry) following content standards — curriculum and resources provided.
  • Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
  • Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
  • Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment.
  • Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • A growth mindset with the flexibility to pivot and problem-solve as needed.

Pay

USD $26.00 - USD $26.00 /Hr.
