Join Our AoPS Academy as a Part-Time Math Instructor!
About the role
We are seeking passionate individuals to join our AoPS Academy as part-time math instructors. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in mathematics and enjoy teaching advanced students in a supportive and engaging environment.
Responsibilities
- Teach engaging curriculum using company-created materials and materials designed for advanced students.
- Lead small classes or facilitate student-led learning sessions.
- Expertly manage up to 16 students in each class.
- Provide feedback on tests and assignments.
- Build relationships with students and families to support their educational journey.
- Inspire a love for learning and critical thinking in math.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree is required.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related or educational field is strongly preferred.
- Strong content knowledge in math.
- Experience teaching or tutoring students.
- Classroom teaching experience at the K-12 level is preferred.
Skills and Experience
- Not required: Formal teaching credential.
Classes Offered
- Honors Math 3: Taught on Tuesdays from 6:30 - 8:15 PM.
- Honors Math 4: Taught on Mondays from 5:30 - 7:15 PM, Tuesdays from 4:15 - 6:00 PM, Wednesdays from 6:30 - 8:15 PM, Thursdays from 4:15 - 6:00 PM, and Wednesdays from 4:15 - 6:00 PM.
- Honors Math 4: Taught on Sundays from 12:15 - 2:00 PM.
Campus Location
The Millburn Campus (788 Morris Turnpike, Short Hills, NJ. 07078) is the location for this position.

- Compensation: $35.00 - $35.25/hour.
