About the role

New Haven teachers are offered a variety of leadership development opportunities including but not limited to curriculum facilitator, teacher facilitator and the Yale-New Haven Teachers Institute.

Responsibilities

• Engage in professional development opportunities provided by the district.
• Provide instruction in Mathematics at the 7-12 grade level.
• Participate in collaborative planning and professional development activities.
• Assist in the implementation of new educational initiatives and curricula.
• Support the overall mission and vision of New Haven Public Schools.

Requirements

• Must possess and maintain the certification requirements as established by Connecticut State Statutes.
• Mathematics 7-12 Certification (029).

• Strong background in Mathematics education.
• Experience in teaching at the 7-12 grade level.

Pay

Salary contingent on degree and years of experience: 26-27 School Year: $53,220 - $108,047.
