Math Senior Content Advisor—Product Development

For our client, we are seeking a Math Senior Content Advisor—Product Development to join the team of a leader in the Media space. This role will guide the development of high-quality mathematics assessment content from early research through implementation. The position partners closely with test development leadership, senior stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure the work is aligned, actionable, and responsive to client needs. It also requires strong subject-matter expertise in large-scale summative assessment and the ability to influence assessment practices in a broad education context. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 annually Responsibilities Oversee assessment product development from research through implementation Execute complex plans vetted by test development leadership Present as a content specialist in TAC and senior leadership meetings Manage client expectations and resolve requests promptly Identify and escalate departmental issues while proposing solutions Collaborate across divisions to support development efforts Review test content development for various projects as a senior-level reviewer Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Math Education; Master's preferred 8+ years of experience in large-scale summative assessment content development 3+ years of leadership experience in people or project management Expertise in Principled Assessment Design and learning progressions Familiarity with the U.S. education system and assessment; TAC contribution experience is a plus Benefits Work remotely from anywhere in the U.S. Opportunity to guide innovative educational assessments Chance to influence assessment practices at a statewide level Collaborative team environment with multi-division engagement Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
