ELA Senior Content Advisor—Product Development

For our client, we are seeking a ELA Senior Content Advisor—Product Development to join the team of a leader in the Media space. This role will guide the development of innovative assessment content from research through implementation, with a strong focus on ELA and literacy assessment products. The position will partner closely with test development leadership, cross-divisional teams, and senior stakeholders to shape content strategy, support proposal work, and ensure high-quality execution. It is an opportunity to serve as a subject matter expert, influence decision-making, and help advance assessment solutions in a collaborative, fast-moving environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 annually Responsibilities Oversee development of innovative assessment products from research to implementation Contribute to complex plans vetted by test development leadership Present as a content specialist in TAC meetings and to senior leadership Manage client and stakeholder expectations, resolving requests promptly Identify and escalate departmental issues while providing solutions Collaborate across divisions as necessary Review content test development projects at a senior level when required Drive content and test development training and standard setting preparation Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, Educational Leadership, or a related pedagogy field; Master's preferred 8+ years of experience developing content for large-scale summative assessments or equivalent Deep content knowledge in educational assessments and learning science 3+ years of experience leading educational programs or initiatives Familiarity with innovative assessment products, early childhood formative assessments, and district-level literacy assessments is beneficial Demonstrated ability to interact with and present to senior leadership, including C-suite executives Demonstrated thought leadership and problem-solving skills, supported by data and attention to detail Benefits Remote work opportunity within the US Opportunity to be a thought leader in innovative assessment development Collaborative environment with cross-divisional teamwork Autonomous contribution to proposal work and project strategies Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
