About the role

A full-time math intervention teacher to coordinate small groups or individual support of students requiring intensive math instruction support and conduct push-in math support to classrooms across grades K-4.

Responsibilities

  • Plan activities and engage math intervention students with structured, differentiated learning activities to close achievement gaps.
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments for students as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and administrative team to discuss math lessons, student placement and progress.

Requirements

  • CT Certification 013 or 113 required.

Qualifications

  • Experience in coordinating small group or individual math support.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with classroom teachers and administrative teams.
  • Knowledge of differentiated learning strategies to close achievement gaps.
