Math Instructor

About the role

You will work with a variety of students at different grade levels in a center-based environment. All work is done at the Mathnasium Center—no outside homework correction or lesson planning is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one or small-group math instruction using the proprietary Mathnasium Method
• Engage students with patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for mathematics
• Maintain a consistent, flexible part-time schedule throughout the school year

Requirements

• Strong math proficiency through calculus
• Passion for math and working with students
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Eagerness to learn and be trained
• High motivation, commitment, patience, and enthusiasm
• Classroom and/or one-on-one mathematics teaching experience is a plus
• Desire to work through the entire school year is required
• Must pass a math literacy test, provide work authorization, and pass a background check
