Math Instructional Specialist

About the role

The Math Instructional Specialist will provide instructional support to students in grades K-12, focusing on enhancing mathematical understanding and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement math curriculum based on district standards
• Provide small group and individualized instruction to enhance student learning
• Evaluate student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Collaborate with other teachers and administrators to improve math education
• Assist in the development and implementation of professional development opportunities for teachers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or related field
• Experience teaching mathematics at the K-12 level
• Strong knowledge of current educational methodologies and best practices
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Education or related field preferred
• Experience working with diverse student populations
• Knowledge of state and national standards for mathematics education
