About the role

The Department 85323 Carolinas College of Health Sciences - Academic seeks a part-time faculty member with early college status who is eligible for benefits. This position offers 16 hours per week with a pay range of $24.10 - $36.15 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Implements current, traditional, and innovative teaching methodologies in various settings.
  • Participates in the comprehensive evaluation process for courses, students, program curriculum, and clinical units.
  • Completes end-of-term responsibilities, including copying exams, maintaining attendance records, and submitting other designated materials to the Program Chair.
  • Assumes responsibility for individual student conferences and instructional support based on student needs.
  • Maintains proficiency in learner-centered instruction through distance delivery mechanisms.
  • Develops syllabi and courses with the Program Chair.

Requirements

  • Master's degree with a minimum of 10 graduate hours in the discipline required.
  • Minimum of 2 years post-secondary teaching experience and/or clinical experience preferred.
  • Current unrestricted valid license, certification, and/or registration issued by the appropriate administrative body required.

Pay

Base compensation listed within the listed pay range based on factors such as qualifications, skills, relevant experience, and/or training. Premium pay such as shift, on-call, and more based on a teammate's job. Opportunity for annual increases based on performance.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, first shift, at Hawthorne Academy. 16 hours per week.
