Math 142 - Substitute Pool

Job Description

This is a part-time as needed position located at our Main Street campus located in Mesa, AZ.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited institution in Math or closely related field.
• A minimum of 18 graduate-level credits in Math with a grade of "C" or higher.
• At least one year of collegiate-level teaching experience.
• Experience using Canvas, Google Classroom, and ExamSoft or similar learning management systems.
• Valid Level 1 IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by Arizona Department of Public Safety.
• Proof of immunization against or immunity to measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) if born after January 1, 1957.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two (2) years of collegiate-level teaching experience.
• Demonstrated ability to plan instruction aligned with course objectives and post lesson plans in a timely manner.
• Skilled in assessing students' skill levels and developing appropriate learning objectives.
• Proficient in organizing instructional time, space, materials, and equipment to support effective learning.
• Able to plan and implement engaging classroom activities and assignments that reinforce learning objectives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated punctuality and professionalism.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
• Able to maintain a positive and collaborative working environment.
• Prominent ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues in an academic setting.
• Commitment to fostering student success through innovative and interactive teaching methods.
