Maternity Leave Replacement - Special Education Techer

Temporary position for the 2026-2027 school year: August 31, 2026 – December 23, 2026. No tenure accrual.

Responsibilities

• Implement effective teaching methods and developmentally appropriate classroom activities for students with disabilities.
• Support students using creative and innovative approaches, including Life Skills–based activities.
• Maintain a positive learning environment.

Requirements

• Holds or is eligible for a New Jersey instructional certificate with appropriate teaching endorsement.
• Experience working in LLD or Autism classroom settings preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of subject matter.

Pay

Following the established salary guide: $64,489.00 – $101,795.00, commensurate with experience.
