Maternity Follow-Up Registered Nurse

This role encompasses the management of antepartum, postpartum, infant, and pediatric (to 3 years) patient care through implementation of the nursing process and coordination of interdisciplinary care.

Responsibilities

• Manage antepartum, postpartum, infant, and pediatric patient care (up to 3 years) using the nursing process.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care.
• Operate specialized equipment (e.g., Bili-Check meter, breast pumps, Bili-Blanket, vital sign machine).
• Demonstrate competent nursing skills and judgment in a fast-paced environment.
• Prioritize and complete work assignments and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Current nursing license in the state of California.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification.
• International Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) or enrollment in a program within one year, or more than 5 years of lactation consultant experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
• Strong maternal-child background.
• Excellent interactive skills.
• Ability to perform the essential physical requirements of the job.

Pay

$47.90 - $71.84 per hour. The posted range reflects the lowest to highest pay available at the time of posting and may be subject to change. Salary offers are determined by the candidate’s relevant experience and skills. For per diem positions, a standard rate is used based on market data and not the candidate’s individual experience.
