Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer - Per Diem

About the role

Vancouver Clinic is seeking an experienced OB/MFM Sonographer to join our Maternal Fetal Medicine department in an on-call/per diem capacity.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic studies, treatment and support to high-risk obstetric patients by performing specific diagnostic tests as ordered by providers
• Affirm accuracy of test results, reports and equipment by having a thorough understanding of tests and techniques
• Have ability to perform variety of OB procedures
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to interact effectively with patients and physicians in pressure situations while maintaining tact and diplomacy

Requirements

• Graduate of an ARDMS accredited school of ultrasound
• ARDMS registered in OB required
• Nuchal Translucency (NT) certification preferred
• 4-5 years of experience in OB sonography preferred
• Experienced in high risk OB ultrasounds a bonus
• Endovaginal scanning skills required
• Previous experience in an outpatient medical or Perinatology Clinic strongly preferred

Pay

Pay Range $48.81 - $73.22

Schedule

Varying shifts Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM 8–10 hours per week, typically 1–3 days per week
