About the role

Apart from the provided details, this position involves providing outpatient behavioral health services to individuals and families affected by perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs), while also serving children, adolescents, adults, and families with diverse mental health needs. The role offers opportunities for professional growth through a varied caseload, extensive clinical supervision, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate an ability to have a diverse caseload of approximately 45-55 clients of various ages and clinical presentations to be able to expand one's clinical knowledge and experience.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions (such as CBT, MI, etc.) and assessments to help individuals achieve their treatment goals, link to community resources, and provide inter-agency coordination of treatment.
  • Assess and evaluate clients at intake, admission, during ongoing treatment and service delivery, and at discharge or transfer.
  • Formulate psychosocial treatment plans with relevant goals, behaviorally measurable objectives that serve as indexes for evaluating treatment progress, and realistic time frames for achievement.
  • Respond to clients for crisis intervention.
  • Plan for, communicate, and document discharge/aftercare/transfer plans for clients completing treatment and accessing other services in the continuum.
  • Function as a member of an interdisciplinary team in the assessment and evaluation of clients, provide written documentation of client's history and assessment information, and actively participate in program and clinical team meetings.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a behavioral health discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • 1-2 years of clinical experience in the mental health field, including but not limited to internships, community-based services, case management, etc.
  • Must have the ability to respond to clients for crisis intervention.
  • Provisional/Professional Licensure to practice counseling/clinical social work (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) required.
  • Bilingual (Spanish-speaking & English-speaking) required.
  • A valid driver's license and you must be insurable by the agency's automobile insurance.

Qualifications

Pay

  • $60k (LAC, LSW, LAMFT)
  • $65k (LPC, LCSW, LMFT)

Schedule

  • M-T: 4, 10 Hour Days
  • M-F: 5, 8 Hour Days with 2 evenings
