Materials - Tugger

Key Responsibilities

• Comply with all company, departmental, and safety policies and procedures.
• Unpacks material from pallets and places in smaller flow racks, ensuring FIFO process is followed.
• Decant and / or prepare material as required for each production line.
• Stocks the production lines, using the proper equipment, such as a tugger or walk behind.
• Makes sure to deliver the right amount of parts to the line at the right time.
• Removes trash from the materials area and production lines.
• Loads cardboard and plastic into the compactors.
• Assists with inventory control functions of the on-site and off-site warehouses, including cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Maintains lot traceability, as required.
• Supports training, as required.

Qualifications and Skills

• Formal qualifications required: High School Diploma.
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
• Two to five years experience in warehouse operations and fork lift experience.
• Desirable: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, excellent organizational skills with ability to handle multiple tasks, detail conscious, good computer skills.
