Material Tech - Puller

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Demold composite parts using a hydraulic puller.
• Complete all required production and operational paperwork accurately and timely.
• Operate an overhead crane in a safe and efficient manner.
• Move pallets and materials using a pallet jack.
• Labor parts in and out using the data collection system.
• Close production orders and create labels as required.
• Return tooling to the proper storage location after use.
• Work closely with other departments to help determine production priorities.
• Maintain 5S standards and support workplace organization.
• Follow all departmental procedures, work instructions, and operational guidelines.
• Comply with all company policies, safety standards, and work rules.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: No prior experience required. Manufacturing or production experience is a plus, but not required.
• Skills: Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, basic ability to complete paperwork and production documentation accurately, ability to safely use equipment such as a hydraulic puller, overhead crane, and pallet jack, basic computer or data entry skills for labor tracking and production order processing, ability to work effectively with team members and other departments, strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, personal attributes including strong commitment to safety and following company policies, dependable and punctual with a good work ethic, willingness to learn and take direction, ability to work in a team-oriented environment, self-motivated with a positive attitude, commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Must be able to lift 45lbs.
• Must be able to wear all required PPE.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to work in both hot and cold conditions.
• Must be able to work around different types of resins and composite materials.
• Must be able to work around chemicals and solvents such as acetone, releasing agents and various cleaning supplies.
