Materials Testing Technician

Utah Testing and Engineering, a subsidiary of Sunrise Engineering, is seeking a Materials Testing Technician to support our growing organization.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete daily written reports
• Complete paperwork for each job
• Perform inspection and testing of materials in the field and lab to verify conformance with construction plans and specifications
• Complete various duties at the direction of the Inspector

Requirements

• 0-3 years of materials testing experience
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and ability to maintain a company vehicle
• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen

Qualifications

Desired certifications (or ability to obtain within 30 days):

• ICC or ACI certifications
• Nuclear Gage certification and experience

On-the-job training will be available.
