Materials Technician (Per Diem)

Pay

Hourly $23.99 - $35.99

Responsibilities

• Manage workflow processes for storage and distribution of general, medical, and surgical supplies and equipment
• Stock, count, and distribute supplies
• Record movement of supplies in and out of inventories using the materials management information system (MMIS)
• Restock supply carts and adjust the mix of supply items and par levels for assigned units
• Interact continually and effectively with staff, responding to and anticipating their needs in a timely manner
• Provide updates on new supply items

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required
• Valid WA Driver’s license required
• Six months prior materials management experience within a healthcare institution preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, in the English language
• Frequent periods of walking, lifting, and standing

Work is performed in a clean, climate-controlled, well-lit environment.
