About the role

Morgan Olson is the leading walk-in van body manufacturer in North America, producing over 7,500 vehicles annually. The company serves industries including parcel delivery, textile rental, baking, newspaper delivery, utilities, and mobile cuisine. This role supervises all warehousing activities, ensuring efficient operations and inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and supervises the work of warehouse personnel daily.
  • Oversees inspection of incoming and outgoing products, packaging, and initial determination of product damages.
  • Investigates shipment discrepancies and resolves issues.
  • Manages inventory accuracy through daily monitoring, cycle counts, and audits.
  • Ensures correct information is entered into the JDE system for inventory accuracy.
  • Ensures materials are delivered to work centers in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensures products are handled properly to minimize damage and preserve quality.
  • Approves time and attendance of all hourly team members.
  • Maintains housekeeping and visual workplace requirements.
  • Monitors performance of team members and administers corrective action when necessary.
  • Schedules and coordinates vacations of team members.
  • Supports and participates in Morgan Olson’s PPS team efforts.
  • Adheres to Quality policy by exceeding customer expectations and supporting continuous improvement.
  • Adheres to Safety policies and practices behavioral-based safety 100% of the time.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma plus some vocational training.
  • 2-3 years’ warehouse experience in a manufacturing/lean environment (JIT).
  • Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience.
  • Working knowledge of MRP systems (JDE knowledge a plus).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Ability to motivate others and build a team environment.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and on-time delivery.
  • Must be flexible with work hours.
