Materials Specialist - Full Time
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate proficient knowledge of MMIS, independently managing all related tasks.
- Efficiently process daily scanning, incoming deliveries, and prioritize urgent or specialized shipments.
- Work with Volunteer and Per Diem staff and promptly address shipping/receiving discrepancies.
- Collaborate with departments for inventory adjustments, maintain labeled shelves, and manage expiration dates.
- Conduct cycle counts, ensure cleanliness in work areas, and cross-train for additional departmental support.
- Adhere to safety practices, contribute to the SDS Program, and participate in ongoing education and development.
- Uphold the values of MCH: Compassion, Collaboration, Honesty, and Respect.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Computer proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, problem solving, and communication skills.
- Regularly use hands for handling objects and talk or hear; frequently stand, walk, reach, lift, stoop, and bend.
- Ability to exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 10 to 25 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly for object movement.
- Erectional requirements include pushing/pulling supply carts with up to 100 pounds of force daily.
