About the role

The Shipping & Receiving Clerk Level II is responsible for preparing and maintaining shipping and receiving documentation, moving inventory to and from warehouse locations as needed, and supporting shipping, receiving, and production operations.

Responsibilities

• General: Safely handle materials and products, use equipment such as pallet jacks or hand trucks to transport items within the warehouse, and ensure proper product placement.
• Shipping:
  • Accurately select and gather goods from storage, package them properly, and prepare them for shipment.
  • Prepare Pick List, Packing List, Certificate of Conformance, and additional shipping documentation as required.
  • Arrange carriers and prepare goods for shipment.
  • Forward appropriate paperwork to Accounting.
• Receiving:
  • Load and unload goods.
  • Create labels for incoming raw materials and purchased components.
  • Notify requesters of goods received.
  • Forward appropriate paperwork to Accounting.
• Inventory Control:
  • Perform periodic cycle counts of finished goods and assembly components inventory.
  • Conduct physical inventory of all materials and components as required.
  • Maintain and update Inventory Results spreadsheet.
• Warehouse:
  • Inspect warehouse location identifiers, reprint or replace damaged or missing labels.
  • Maintain an organized and clean warehouse.
  • Safely operate material-handling equipment to move, stack, and transport goods.
  • Ensure the dock is free or has enough space for loading/unloading material.
  • Assist Material Handlers as needed.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs., with extensive walking and unloading.
• Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, lifting, and squatting during the shift.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3 years of shipping/receiving experience.
• Specialized Knowledge: Forklift experience – certified.
• Inventory Management: Experience using ERP systems and barcode scanning technology.
• Strong communication skills to arrange pickups and shipments.

Pay

$30.00–$34.00 per hour.
