About the role
The general receiving process may require the employee to work at various docks at the plant during the workday dependent on staffing and production demands. All employees may be expected to flex depending on experience, training and skill level to perform work tasks. May be required to obtain certification for operation of Powered Industrial Trucks and Stackers. This is an on-site position (5 days).
Responsibilities
- Offload materials from trucks
- Inventory new materials, tag them, and get them to correct locations in an efficient manner
- Follow 5S standards for area
- Work indoor and outdoor areas throughout the day
- Process inbound freight and/or load outbound units
Requirements
- Good verbal communication and excellent analytical/problem solving skills
- Detail oriented, organized, ability to multitask
- Ability to work in a team setting and demonstrate a positive work attitude
- Must have the ability to keep up with high volume in a fast-moving environment
- Must have the ability to lift 35 lbs., as requested
- Must possess basic math skills & problem solving skills
- Ability to work safely
- Completion of basic Forklift Training and Safety Orientation
- 3 – 6 months of material handling experience
Pay
Hourly base pay range: $19.71 - $22.98. For Colorado residents: $19.95 - $26.29 (minimum to maximum). Actual compensation will depend on factors such as seniority, merit, geographic location, education, experience, travel requirements, and union designation.
